Dr. Susie Chung is a classically trained pianist, who enjoys working with students of all ages and levels. She believes that anyone can learn how to play the piano and with proper guidance, piano lessons can be enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding.
Born in South Korea and raised in the United States, Dr. Chung has performed throughout the US, Asia, and Europe. She holds Doctorate and Master’s degree in Piano Performance from University of Southern California, where she also worked as an Assistant Lecturer. Dr. Chung is currently serving as a collaborative pianist at HOLA- Heart of Los Angeles Intergenerational Choir.
Dr. Chung enjoys hiking, gardening, and exploring new coffee roasters when she has free time. She also loves listening to Jazz and some of her favorite musicians include Glenn Gould, Martha Argerich, Bill Evans, Radu Lupu and Jacques Loussier.
